It probably took more courage to reinstate the glass back than it did to remove the headphone jack last year, but we\u2019re ready to give it a try. Apple listed a number of things it did to make sure the glass is strong and that the color is consistent, including reinforcing the glass with steel and using a seven-layer process to color the iPhones. Overall, the design\u00a0looks beautiful.<\/p>\n<p>While you may wonder why Apple would return to a glass back when there were so many durability issues in the past, the reason is apparently to make iPhone wireless charging possible.
